Class Description
6-week block of adult Irish dance over a 7-week period. No class on Feb 23rd. Why try Irish dance? -Fabulous for cardio fitness. It's basically like HIIT training! -Some Riverdance tunes will certainly cheer you up -You don't necessarily realise it but it's very much a core workout as well. In Pilates you learn to maintain you posture and core engagement while the rest of your body is moving. Irish dance is like Pilates on steroids! -You'll learn beginner level dances such as the Light Reel and Light Jig and correct technique -Your legs will get stronger, balance will improve and it's great for bone density -Just like in Pilates and Barre, Anna corrects your form so you get lots of individual attention -No upper age limit, movements can be adapted to suit older participants as well All participants get an invite link to a closed facebook group with lots of instructional videos covering Beginner level Irish dance (Light Jig, Light Reel, Single Jig, Slip Jig). To wear: We only do soft shoe dances to begin with, so you don't need to the hard shoes. You also don't need Irish dance shoes to take the trial (like the ones in the picture), you can wear clean trainers (normal trainers or split sole dance sneakers are ideal) or soft ballet shoes. Also bring water! Time: 6 classes over a 7-week period on Mondays 4.30-5.25pm from Feb 16th to March 30th. No class on Feb 23rd. Venue: 5th Fife Scout Group, 10 Dunnikier Road, Kirkcaldy, KY1 2RU. Free street parking on St Mary's Road, and council street parking and car parks nearby. Cancellation policy: No refunds are given if you cancel your space with less than 48h notice or you don't turn up on the day. You can request a 7 Days On-Demand video access or arrange with me to take a make up class (Wednesday Irish dance or Monday 11.30am Barre).

Cancellation Policy
IN-STUDIO and via ZOOM: If you cancel your block or a one-off trial class with a minimum 48h notice by email or text, you get a full refund. If less than 48h, no refunds are given unless your space can be allocated to someone else on the waitlist. If not, you will get access to the Video Library on the website for the same duration as the block would have been. Missing classes: For each missed class you can request to either 1) get 7 days On-Demand Video Library access on the website 2) take a class on another day, subject to availability (please arrange in advance with Anna) Please note, make up classes are only valid during the same or the following block. For example if you missed a class in Block 5, you can make up that class during block 5 or 6. After that time they expire. Refunds are not given for missed classes. Please note 3-week Pilates trials have shorter make up periods, specified at the time of booking. If you miss individual classes over the block, please let me know. The make up class system relies on everyone letting me know when they make it. This will release a space for someone else to come make up.
