Yes you can! 😁 In the Flow live classes and on-demand videos I try my best to give adaptations for the most common issues, such as sore shoulders, wrists, lower back and knees.
If you take a Premium live online class, please let me know on Zoom before class starts if you have any limitations. I can then add the relevant adaptations where needed. If you prefer not to mention these limitations out loud, feel free to type me a direct message on Zoom chat instead.
PROPS. Blocks or books, cushions, stretch bands or straps and half foam rollers are your friends! These are very useful when adapting exercises and stretches.
If you have any concerns or struggle with any exercise or the positions they are performed in, just let me know and I can help you.
**IMPORTANT** If you have suffered an injury recently or had an operation, or have issues with your spine such as a slipped disc, please first have a chat with your health care provider if they feel Pilates is appropriate for you. If they say it's ok, then please contact me by email, the contact form or the website chat and let me know about your situation. I can then advise what classes will be suitable and what type of adaptations you should be taking. In such cases I recommend only taking premium live group or private classes (not flow or video classes) so I can keep an eye on you.
